Jonathan Cooper,

Jonathan Cooper has had a very successful professional career in the industry of managing venture capital funds and consulting in the field of mergers and acquisitions. Before coming to Poteza, he concluded four transactions worth a total 42 million EUR as Managing Director of ACA (Ascendant Capital Advisors), a regional financial consulting firm from Zagreb. Before founding ACA, J. Cooper first managed the Croatian branch of private equity manager SEAF, which carried out 17 ventures into various small and medium-sized companies, including seven technological companies, and then for the next six years acted as the chief investment manager at private equity manager SEAF Trans Balkan Fund. The fund which had four regional offices and a team of 20 investment consultants invested 24 million USD in SE European companies. Cooper was also a member of the investment committees of funds SEAF Romania and SEAF Macedonia.

Before he moved to Europe he worked as a marketable securities analyst with American fund Sterling Investments LP and as an analyst with American Key Equity Capital, which deals in company acquisitions.

Jonathan Cooper is an MBA graduate from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University and is a licensed CFA, while ever since 2003 he has been complementing his professional career through cooperation with various international educational institutions as lecturer on the topic of private equity and venture capital.
